I realize it has been nearly two months since my last post.  However, time has been very limited since Abby was born.  I'll be honest, two children was even more terrifying than I expected at first.  I have never felt so overwelmed and helpless as I did the first couple of weeks at home with two small children by myself.  Drew helped when he could, but he also had to keep working so we can feed those two precious children.  Abby started out sleeping 1-2 hours at night, which was a complete nightmare.  I kept wishing that she was more like Micah in that respect because he at least slept 3 hours at a time when he was that age.  But, we eventually figured out that Abby sleeps MUCH better when she sleeps on her tummy (they tell you that they are supposed to sleep on their back, but they weren't up with her every hour of the night).  She is now sleeping through the night for the most part.  I would say she averages 7-8 hours a night.  She ended up sleeping through the night at an earlier age than Micah, so I guess those first couple weeks of no sleep were well worth it.  Today is her 8 week birthday.  Micah is wonderful as a big brother.  He loves to give his sissy kisses.  He even goes to her when she cries to give her a kiss.  He has only acted jealous a couple of times when I was feeding Abby and could not pick him up and hold him too.  I would say we are finally well-adjusted to our new family dynamic.  I survived a trip to the grocery by myself with both kids and came home with the same two I went with!  I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  God has blessed Drew and I with two of the most beautiful and wonderful children!  Anyways, I need to go take a shower before they wake up from their naps.

I am in pain.  Not labor pain, but the baby is laying on a nerve and there is a constant pinched nerved feeling in my backside.  So, I can truly say that this baby is a pain in the butt.

I went to the baby doctor today.  I am due April 1, but I am 2-3 cm dialated and 50% effaced as of right now, so the doctor said maybe mid to late March instead.  I hope so, the baby is really low and it hurts to walk.  So, just say a little prayer that the baby comes within the next couple of weeks.

Micah is doing well.  He had a good first birthday, at least from what I can tell.  The only problem is trying to get this child to drink out of a sippy cup.  He is very attached to his bottle and we are having a very hard time trying to get him off of it.  But, the doctor said he needed to be done with the bottle by 13 months.  Anyways, that's all for now.

My baby turns one tomorrow morning at 7:01. I'm a little sad because it seems like the year has flown by and I just can't believe that my baby is already 1 year old.
